Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2021 Jeep Renegade is available in eight trim levels and special editions: the Sport, Latitude, Freedom, Jeepster, 80th Anniversary Edition, Islander, Limited, and Trailhawk. The Renegade has a Wrangler-like personality with a more modern, city-ready style. The front fascia features the Wrangler's round headlamps and seven grille slots. Find a model with a dual-pane panoramic sunroof to create a safari-like experience during your drives. Other available exterior features include the LED Lighting Group, keyless Enter 'n Go passive entry system, and larger 19-inch wheels. Choose the Latitude to add roof rails and automatic headlights to your Renegade.
Engine (Power)
The 2021 Renegade starts its lineup with a 2.4-liter Tigershark four-cylinder engine that outputs 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. If you choose the Limited or Trailhawk, you'll get the available 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 177 horsepower and 210 pound-feet of torque. These engines are both matched with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
Each new Renegade except Trailhawk and Limited has the option to upgrade to an all-wheel-drive system. Those two top trim levels come standard with the tough Jeep four-wheel-drive systems. Prepare yourself for off-roading journeys with the Trailhawk, which comes loaded with extra performance features such as hill descent control, low-range four-wheel-drive settings, and the Selec-Terrain traction management system's terrain-specific drive modes. The 2021 Renegade gets up to 24 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway when equipped with the upgraded engine.
Interior
The Renegade is a small five-seater SUV. The Sport offers durable Washington cloth upholstery. You'll find perforated leather-trimmed upholstery at the Limited level. Load the gear you need for your journey in the rear cargo area with its available adjustable cargo floor. If you need more space, the 60/40-split rear row folds down to increase the Renegade's cargo volume. The Renegade offers weather-ready features such as dual-zone automatic temperature control and a heated steering wheel. Each Renegade features a 7- or 8.4-inch screen that allows you to integrate your smartphone with your Jeep.
Safety Features
The 2021 Jeep Renegade starts off strong with its list of standard driver-assist technologies. Each model comes equipped with city-ready tech such as a blind-spot monitor, lane departure warning with lane-keep assist, and a rear backup camera.
